Genoma Laboratorio participates in the "IBMCP - Science and Technology at the Service of Agriculture" conference

Genoma Laboratory staff, including the laboratory's Technical Director, José Manuel Lucas, attended the conference organized by the company on March 15th in Valencia. Biovegen (Plant Biotechnology Technology Platform), together with IBMPC (Institute of Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology) and Cajamar Cooperative Group under the title “IBMCP – Science and Technology at the Service of Agriculture”, which took place all day long in the Blue Cube Auditorium of the Polytechnic City of Innovation, located on the Vera Campus of the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

A broad program of talks and roundtable discussions allowed attendees to learn firsthand about the most exciting technological advances stemming from the research generated at the IBMCP, opening doors to collaboration between companies and research centers for the development and commercialization of some of these advances.

The event represents a clear example of what open innovation and technology transfer should be, aimed at promoting the development of innovative solutions in the world of plant biotechnology.

More than 300 people attended the event, which allowed for the exchange of opinions and networking in the scientific and professional fields, aimed at improving knowledge of companies, the services they offer, and their capabilities to operate in the areas covered.

Genoma Laboratorio is firmly committed to this type of event and hopes to participate in some of the proposed developments to achieve practical and efficient solutions for controlling phytosanitary problems affecting our crops.
